In his collage work, his uses US currencies, mainly George Washington who’s on the US dollar bill, to tell stories and mythes. They talk about he start into the arts. In this episode Jason travels down to Richmond Virginia to talk Johnny Dollar. Johnny Dollar is a visual artist who’s work is a mix of pop Surrealism and cyberpunk. He signs his paintings with his real name then covers his name with a piece of masking tape and signs that with Johnny Dollar. As you’ll learn in the interview, the masking tape is a form of encryption. It can be removed at any time to reveal his real identity.
