DC Walls is part of a global festival dedicated to murals and the artists who make them. Since its founding in 2010, the festival has expanded from its origins in Hawaii and grown into a global network of artists. Secret Walls, brought back to DC for 2022, brings artists together to paint a mural before a live audience within 90 minutes. It’s raw, fast and fun! Episode-53 DC Walls International Mural Festival 2021

Welcome to yet another ArtBox DMV episode. Jason travels to the neighborhood of NOMA durning DC Walls Festival. Formerly called Pow! Wow! DC, it stills features  great artists, epic walls and awesome volunteers. So, grab a bottle of water, and lets take a walk and around NOMA and meet some artists! First stop, Baghead. Now let’s walk over to Alethia Tanner Park and talk to A.L. Grime Durning a rain delay, Jason  talked to Immanual Ahiable. Then Jason chats with Sarah Jane Jamison. Next to Sarah is Kimchi Juice. Jason talks to Kathrine Campagna about her Wall and he talks to Jeremiah Edwards about his. After a great crab dinner, Jason sat down with Jack, Mark and Mat. They talked about the wall they worked on. Jason heads on over to Blake Jones’s wall. Last on Jason’s adventure is Cris Zuniga.
