Episode 27 New York Art Fairs

Zavier from Charle Smith Gallery

In this episode Jason traveled up to New York City. He went to some of the art fairs that where going on and because of the coronavirus outbreak happening, people where bumping elbows instead of Shaking hands. He wasn’t able to make it to all of the fairs, but the ones he did attend were diverse and accessible. They were small more intimate and were happing on multiple floors. Jason was able to grab some interviews at Volta Art Fair and Spring/Break Art Show. First up is  Kamiar Maleki. Kamiar is the fair director for Volta.  Next up the Safarani Sisters. They are visual artist and that use painting and video projections. Zavier, Gallerist for Charle Smith Gallery and he is an artist that had his work shown by C&C Gallery and his work was at Volta as well. They talk about his gallery and the theme in the booth. Rinus van Hall is a visual Artist who painted self portraits with social media filters and the fear that might come with them. Last but not least Jeila Gueramian. She created a nice and warm, cozy environment at Spring/Break art show. Want to say a huge thank you to Volta and Spring break art show. And want to say thank you to everyone that was interviewed as well.  And of course a thank you to you to the listener. Until next time!
